Robot & Mecha Starter Set — Complete
Rust & Bronze
Weathered low-tech palette. Full workflow. No fumes, no excuses.
Not every machine rolled off a factory line last week. Rust & Bronze is the weathered low-tech palette, ochre and beige plating gone patchy with age, copper fittings gone dark, the look of something built to last long past its warranty.
Three ONECOAT colours lay down full opacity in a single coat, brush or airbrush, straight over whatever colour your kit shipped in, no three-layer basecoat routine, no patchy coverage fighting you at every panel line. Copper metallic handles the fittings and trim that give this scheme its identity, and a Layer brown rounds things out for panel-line and weathering detail, work that does not need a full coat, just control.
Complete takes it further, Dark Copper and Pewter metallics for oxidised and worn steel, an INKredible Umber ink for a warm, rust-toned panel line instead of the usual black, a matte topcoat to seal it, and a Crystal Kolinsky Sable brush fine enough to actually use that ink where it counts.
- Ochre (ONECOAT) — Weathered main armor
- Beige (ONECOAT) — Secondary panels
- Black (ONECOAT) — Joints / weapons
- Copper (Metallics) — Metallic detailing
- Brown 3 (Layer) — Panel-line / weathering detail
- Dark Copper (Metallics) — Rusted / oxidised metal
- Pewter (Metallics) — Worn steel patches
- Umber (INKredible) — Panel lining (warm / rust line)
- Matt Varnish 30ml (Auxiliaries) — Topcoat
- Crystal Kolinsky Sable Brush, Size 00 (Brush) — Panel lining / fine detail
Why ONECOAT for the base colours. The ONECOAT colours in this set are built for full opacity in a single hand-brushed coat, ideal for recolouring your kit's main armor sections regardless of the stock plastic colour underneath. They airbrush just as well, laying down clean, even coverage in a fraction of the coats you would need elsewhere, so however you prefer to work, coverage is not the thing you will be fighting. The Layer colour included is formulated for smooth blending and thin glazes rather than flat coverage, so we have paired it with detail work, panel lines, weathering, small greebles, where that is exactly what you want. It thins beautifully through an airbrush too, if you would rather handle detail work that way.

Better paint. Better price. No excuses.
