Robot & Mecha Starter Set — Core
Principality Crimson
Grunt-suit palette. Full coverage. No fumes, no excuses.
Some suits are built to be seen coming. Principality Crimson is not one of them, it is the antagonist grunt-suit palette built for mass-produced menace, deep red plating, cold purple trim, functional grey undersuit.
Four ONECOAT colours lay down full opacity in a single coat, brush or airbrush, straight over whatever colour your kit shipped in, no three-layer basecoat routine, no patchy coverage fighting you at every panel line. One Layer colour rounds out the set for the small stuff, the monoeye, sensor detail, work that does not need a full coat, just control.
- Red (ONECOAT) — Main armor
- Purple (ONECOAT) — Trim / accents
- Grey (ONECOAT) — Undersuit / joints
- Black (ONECOAT) — Visor / weapons
- Yellow 2 (Layer) — Monoeye / sensor detail
Why ONECOAT for the base colours. The ONECOAT colours in this set are built for full opacity in a single hand-brushed coat, ideal for recolouring your kit's main armor sections regardless of the stock plastic colour underneath. They airbrush just as well, laying down clean, even coverage in a fraction of the coats you would need elsewhere, so however you prefer to work, coverage is not the thing you will be fighting. The Layer colour included is formulated for smooth blending and thin glazes rather than flat coverage, so we have paired it with detail work, the monoeye, sensor dots, small greebles, where that is exactly what you want. It thins beautifully through an airbrush too, if you would rather handle detail work that way.
Want the technique behind this? Read Painting Over Pre-Coloured Plastic for the full reasoning on coverage and prep.
Want panel lining, metallics and a topcoat too? Check out the Complete kit.
Better paint. Better price. No excuses.
